After more than 18 years of formation and development, this is the first time in history that “Global Women Summit 2008” organized in Vietnam, where excellent female leaders in the field of business and state’s management all over the world meet each other yearly.

Global Women Summit 2008 that organized by Vietnam’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry combining with Private Association of Vietnam Women Union, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture-Sport and Tourism, People’s Committee of Ha Noi City and authorities concerned will be officially taken place from 05 to 07 of June 2008.

The Global Women Summit has become a prestigious international conference, and it is also a bridge associating and gathering women who have position and influence in society to solve and petition to the Government of countries matters of business and sex equality in international economy; establishing the global women union aims at the share of the best real experiences, successful business strategies, and overcoming problems that women currently have to face in business, and giving chances to enhance women’s role and position in business as well as social and political activities.

On the other hand, the Summit also creates an opportunity for entrepreneurs, businesswomen all over the world to meet partners and seek investment – business chances; it shows respect to typical businesswomen who have positive contributions to the economic development of countries.

Ms. Pham Thi Dieu Hien - Chairman of the Board, concurrently Director General of Binh An Fishery Joint-Stock Company (Bianfishco) is a successful businesswoman, a typical for businesswomen participating in Global Women Summit 2008 organized at the first time in Viet Nam with the topic of “Women and Asia – Motivation of Global Economy”

Ms. Pham Thi Dieu Hien shall have a speech in the Summit with the subject of “Efficient Use and Attraction Strategy” at the forum of “Post-WTO Investment”.
